During the Orlando Fall 2008 Summit, the Community Reinvestment Challenge (CRC) will build upon the enthusiasm generated during last year's Atlanta Fall "PaintFest" project by bringing
the CRC to the Orlando Summit thereby giving more attendees the opportunity to volunteer and get engaged. Elements of the project will be:
One day only, Saturday, 8 November 9am-3pm
Stay all day or just an hour. We'll keep your creative juices flowing with lunch, snacks and drinks.
"On site" near the Summit registration area
In cooperation with the Foundation for Hospital Art, whose "Healing of Art" concept has reached over 800 hospitals, treatment facilities and shelters in 166 countries
Volunteers will put paintbrush to canvas and create six-panel murals. It's easy and fun for any age or gender
Don't worry, outline of murals are created in advance and the actual application is a "paint by color" approach
If you want to reconnect with your inner child and rediscover the joys of coloring, you will love this interactive charitable activity (impress yourself with how well you can now stay within the lines!)
Invite friends, colleagues to join as great fun will be had by all
Join us to "paint with a purpose"
Murals will be donated to pre-selected charitable organizations throughout Orlando
Net proceeds of the project will be donated to the Children's Home Society of Florida, the benefiting charity of the previous Orlando Summit.
Please join our volunteer team. Financial or in-kind donations will go a long way towards making children's lives brighter. To volunteer, click here. To donate or pledge, click here or contact Diane Jeffreys at +1.404.589.3212.
