
Bayside Community Center

In conjunction with the CoreNet Global San Diego Summit 2008, a full schedule of work activity on Friday and Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., was geared towards helping to make Bayside Community Center a better place. The CoreNet Global team performed a "make over" of the facility ranging from landscape improvements to painting interior classrooms.
Since 1932, Bayside Community Center has provided emergency services and advocacy to immigrants and refugees in San Diego who are limited by language, cultural understanding, knowledge of existing laws, and transportation barriers. Bayside's four focus areas of service are Social Services, Education, Housing and Public Safety, which include the following 14 programs:
