Bayside Community Center

Come join us at our Community Reinvestment Challenge project,
2-3 May, 2008, before the San Diego Summit begins!
Since 1932, Bayside Community Center has provided emergency services and advocacy to immigrants and refugees in San Diego who are limited by language, cultural understanding, knowledge of existing laws, and transportation barriers. Bayside's four focus areas of service are Social Services, Education, Housing and Public Safety, which include the following 14 programs:
- After School Tutoring Program
- Bayside Kids Summer Camp
- Case Management Services
- Community Services
- Cultural Activities
- Educational & Recreational Services
- Generation to Generation Literacy Program
|
- Health Services
- Housing Services Project
- Senior Support
- Youth Empowerment Program
- Feeling Fit Club for Seniors
- Senior Nutrition through AIS

We anticipate a full schedule of work activity for both days, Friday and Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Our work days will be geared toward helping to make Bayside Community Center a better place. We will be doing a "make over" of their facility. We are

currently finalizing our plans but projects that our CoreNet Global team will be working on range from landscape improvements to painting interior classrooms. The facility needs a wide range of work, and we are confident that those that participate will feel the reward of helping a great organization that does so much to help this community in San Diego.
Please join our volunteer team. Financial or in-kind donations will certainly go a long way in making the lives brighter in this deserving center. To volunteer, click here or register to participate at the restoration site on Friday or Saturday, 2-3 May. To donate or pledge, click here or contact Diane Jeffreys at +1.404.589.3212.
