Presentation by George Bartley - Footprint Tracker.
Both HSBC and The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) have targeted enterprise-wide carbon neutrality. Since achieving neutral status, HSBC has expanded their focus to include new business opportunities in the field of sustainability. Together with their partner, CBRE Energy & Environment Group, HSBC has entered into structured renewable energy investments - including a portfolio of wind farm projects - that generate triple bottom line results.
In a brand new venture designed to engage occupants in the process of reducing carbon emissions, The Royal Bank of Scotland and their partner, Building Sustainability, are implementing ground-breaking technologies that monitor a buildings' carbon footprint in a real-time. This enables individual occupants to control aspects of their own environment and directly support RBS' enterprise-wide carbon strategy.
