Description

This report presents findings from the second phase of a two-phase project exploring decision support for corporate real estate (CRE) client relationship management (CRM).
This report analyzes CRM from the perspective of deploying communication and analytical tools that support decision making in CRE. The combination of decision-support tools and the collaborative processes supporting their utilization varies significantly from organization to organization. There are many effective approaches to decision support for CRM in CRE. Included in the report are four case studies that provide examples of how real estate organizational structures leverage their respective strengths in their approaches to CRM and decision making. Survey results from this research provide insight into current decision-making practices of CRE organizations that place a high level of importance on CRM.
