Jeffrey Elie of Kaplan Inc. Named CoreNet Global Chairman
CoreNet Global Announces New Board of Directors Members
ATLANTA April 20, 2005 - Today, CoreNet Global, the international association of corporate real estate professionals, announced the election of Jeffrey Elie as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the 7,500-member association. The announcement was made at the CoreNet Global Toronto Summit. Elie will succeed Leslie Whatley as CoreNet Global s new Chairperson. He is vice president of Global Real Estate and Facilities for Kaplan Inc. in New York City.
Other officers who assumed their posts at the close of the Toronto Global Summit are Mark Golan, Chair-elect, and John Igoe, Treasurer. Golan is vice president of Workplace and Worldwide Real Estate for Cisco Systems, Inc. and Igoe is Vice President of Commercial Development, SARES REGIS Group of Northern California. He was formerly vice president of Real Estate and Site Services for Palm Solutions Group, a unit of Palm, Inc.

CoreNet Global recently decided to expand the board of directors from 13 to 15 members. With the expansion, the board appointed Mike Napier, Chief Executive of Real Estate for Shell International, as well as Andy Bessette, EVP and Chief Administration Officer for St. Paul Travelers to the board.
Greg Byrnes, Director of Economic and Business Development for PECO Energy Company, filled a one-year vacancy on the board.
All other newly appointed members to the Board of Directors will serve for a term of three years concluding in the spring of 2008.
