Getting Started
About Speaking at CoreNet Global Summits
Sharing your professional experience at a CoreNet Global Summit provides quality exposure for you and your company while creating an unprecedented learning opportunity for Summit delegates. As you consider making a submission, please be aware that the following applies should you be accepted:
- You and your presentation may be assigned to a panel format session. Please do not presume that you will be allotted all of the session time if your case is accepted.
- You will be asked to participate in a one-hour session planning conference call.
- You will be asked to use a Summit PowerPoint template for your presentation slides. The template includes a prominent space for your company logo.
- You will be asked to submit your final, completed presentation at least one week prior to the Summit.
- Material presented at any CoreNet Global Summit becomes the property of CoreNet Global.
- CoreNet Global does not generally pay stipends to workshop speakers. In order to speak, you must register as a Summit delegate. In recognition of your significant contribution to the Summit’s success, your registration fee will be discounted.
Deadline for Submission
Deadline for submission is 2 May 2008. Acceptance of late entries will be based on need. The listed topics are related to the Summit learning theme - please use them as thought-starters for your case submissions. Each topic includes a hotlink to the application form.
Call for Cases Evaluation and Selection
CoreNet Global will review nominations and you will be notified of the status of your submission, via e-mail, no later than 15 July 2008. You may receive a phone call asking for clarification or additional information regarding your submission. These inquiries assist us in selecting as many quality submissions as possible. Please understand that these inquires do not indicate acceptance of your case - you will receive a specific notification via email regarding the status of your case study and its inclusion in the CoreNet Global Summit Orlando.
Submissions will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Alignment with the overall theme and topics of the Summit
- Creativity, innovation or best practice of the case study
- Models or tools that might be useful for other corporate real estate professionals
- How the case study created value for the corporation or organization
- Lessons learned or guidelines for others
- Quality, clarity and completeness of the submission
We regret that we cannot include all submissions in our Summit programs.
