Mile High City Historical & Arts District
Tuesday, 1 May, 9:00am - 4:00pm
Summit attendee guests experience the dichotomy of Denver as both an old-world western town and thriving modern city on this historic, artistic and cultural tour. Two of the many tour destinations include the Colorado State Capitol Building and the Denver Mint. A third destination is the Molly Brown House and Museum. Known to many modern-day moviegoers as 'Unsinkable Molly Brown' from James Cameron's Titanic, Ms. Brown was an actress, devoted philanthropist and activist who ran for congress well before women even had the right to vote. Tour participants will also enjoy the Denver Art Museum, viewing the newly opened and awe-inspiring Frederick C. Hamilton Building, designed by world-renowned architect Daniel Libeskind, which is soon to be a signature landmark for the city of Denver. Tour participants are also treated to lunch at one of the many trendy downtown restaurants.
