Planning Your Trip


Flights into and out of Lisbon
Lisboa International Airport is only 7 km from the city centre. It has daily flights to and from the major cities in Europe and the world. Once arrived in Lisbon, Taxis are waiting outside the airport. A taxi ride should not be more than Euro 10.

Climate
Lisbon is one of the warmest European capitals. It lies in both the Atlantic and Mediterranean climatic zones, thereby enjoying a pleasantly temperate climate year-round. It means an annual temperature of 17°C (63°F), with average temperatures in summer of 27°C (80°F°). Even when summer temperatures reach the mid-30s, the proximity of the Atlantic Ocean insures some cooling breezes.

Currency
The currency in Lisbon is the Euro.

Language
The language spoken in Lisbon is Portuguese. English is spoken, however, in most hotels and restaurants.

Dress Code
The dress code for the Summit is business casual.
