Dan Ariely, Leading Behavioral Economist & Author of Predictably Irrational, will challenge us to ponder how irrationality manifests itself in situations where rational thought is expected. We all succumb to irrationality, it's about time we find solutions to the behaviors that affect our daily lives in a significant way.
Ariely's book Predictably Irrational debuted in March 2008 at #6 on the New York Times Bestseller List, and has been in the top 20 ever since. Dan Ariely is the Alfred P. Sloan Professor of Behavioral Economics at MIT, where he holds a joint appointment between MIT's Program in Media Arts and Sciences and the Sloan School of Management.

Seeing the Future - Now
What is the "next big thing" that will take us to a future we have not yet imagined?
Is there something out there that seems so unlikely, so farfetched, that we fail
to realize its potential impact on our work, our lives and our world? Jeremy
Gutsche will take us on an exploration of the newest, and sometimes way-out,
trends that he and his fellow trend hunters have found all over the globe. Taken as a whole, what do they tell us about our world and how it’s changing?
