Friday 13 September 02 (Lille, France) - Europe's senior most corporate real estate executives are preparing to convene in Lille, France, for the CoreNet Global Summit.
The 15 - 18 September event is CoreNet Global's first foray in Europe as the world's leading professional association for corporate occupiers, service providers and economic developers.
"The conference theme of Integration : New Horizons for a Real Estate Industry symbolises both the evolution of the former IDRC and NACORE International into CoreNet Global and the changing nature of corporate real estate itself," according to John Suyker, CoreNet Global Europe Advisory Board Chairman and Europe Director, American Management Systems.
Topics ranging from risk management and business continuity to corporate infrastructure and workplace innovation will keep the more than 200 industry professionals who are expected to attend focused on a range of pressing concerns over the course of the three-day meeting, which will also draw attendees from Africa, Asia, Canada, New Zealand and the United States.
"With the weight of economic pressures coupled with the need for better risk management in the post-11 September climate, the ability to lead change in turbulent times become tantamount to the continued success of real estate and the enterprises we serve," comments CoreNet Global Board member Leslie Whatley, MCR, who is Director of Client Management and Real Estate at J.P. Morgan Chase and Co.
Combining leadership with the skills to manage a constantly changing corporate asset landscape reflects the CoreNet Global vision of establishing a worldwide network of real estate and related professionals who add value to their enterprises, and provides the ideal opportunity for occupiers and their business partners to come up to speed with fast-emerging trends and practices related by their peers.
The Lille programme is packed with case studies that convey innovative solutions to increasingly complex problems in three general and eight breakout sessions customising the presentations to the EU and European region in general.
