Fast Forward: Corporate Real Estate 2010 CoreNet Global Fall 2004 Summit Opens with CRC Outreach, Weekend EDP Seminars
Corporate real estate professionals traveled to San Antonio in early November for a full slate of Summit activities, including a pre-Summit series of Executive Development Program seminars, three acclaimed General Session speakers and powerful educational sessions with real-world applications and strategic impact.
The Fall Summit’s festive opening reception was held Sunday evening, Nov. 6, at 6 p.m., preceded by receptions for new members and for women in CoreNet Global interested in expanding their professional female networks. The sights, sounds and flavors of the American Southwest were highlighted in the Summit Opener.
The context in which learning content for the Summit was developed is the continuing transformation of the enterprise into a dynamic, networked entity in a diverse global marketplace where competition for cost advantage is unprecedented.
More than 120 expert presenters and panelists in 33-plus educational sessions, including new presentations on CoRE 2010: "The Journey Continues"
More sessions than ever on professional development and managing relationships
Enhanced exhibitor space, with food and beverage facilities
Additional networking opportunities

In this environment, corporate real estate executives are challenged as never before to meet new standards of business-unit and enterprise-level support, and to acquire new attributes to sustain those standards. Non-traditional skillsets demanded in the emerging workplace include leadership and collaborative abilities, the capability to manage integrated service-delivery functions, both internal and external, and management command of the increasingly important issues of corporate sustainability and social responsibility.
The Summit theme, Fast Forward: Corporate Real Estate 2010, showcased an agenda filled with real-world, actionable information on topics such as workplace configuration strategies, public/private-sector collaboration, integration of internal functions and export of non-core competencies, and cases from the retail, government and manufacturing sectors.
