Daily Reports Direct from the CoreNet Global San Antonio Summit Sunday, November 7 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm Women in CoreNet Global Networking Reception About 100 women corporate real estate leaders attended a Women in CoreNet Global networking reception held Sunday afternoon at the Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio. The event was a follow-up to the CoreNet Global Women in the Workplace professional development seminar held last July in Atlanta, and an extension of the CoreNet Global Diversity Task Force initiative aimed at the corporate real estate profession, its vendors, and the CoreNet Global organization. 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm "Welcome to San Antonio" Opening Reception Let the Summit begin! A festive reception was held in the EXPO at the Convention Center Sunday evening. As part of the Texas-Mexico Border theme, mariachi bands and flamenco dancers welcomed attendees. Fresh tortillas and tamales, other delicious Mexican food and Texas specialties were served. The reception was sponsored by the State of Texas, the San Antonio Economic Development Foundation, and the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad.
