The San Diego Zoo awaits you with more than 4,000 animals representing 800 species. The Zoo's collection of animals is acknowledged as one of the finest in the entire world. Enjoy a fun day of exploring, both on your own and via a guided Behind the Scenes tour. Stay as long as you like at the Zoo, or after lunch you can be whisked over to explore some of the finest museums in scenic Balboa Park, home to the second-largest collection of museums outside of Washington, DC.
